A thrilling virtual event! On March 24th and 25th, endometriosis specialists met online for the 14th Endometriosis Congress for German-speaking countries. The program included panel discussions and expert conversations as well as several live surgeries from the “Bethesda Hospital Duisburg” and the “Inselspital Bern”. Dr. med. Harald Krentel demonstrated an in-bag power morcellation with the A.M.I. products i-Cut and More-Cell-Safe during a live LASH (laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy).
“For me, in-bag morcellation is the only safe option. Unprotected morcellation is problematic because it can be associated with numerous complications and disadvantages for patients.
