Education and discussion “live and in colour“ with renowned urology specialists: On June 9th, about 30 participants from the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region  participated in the A.M.I.’s webinar to get an up-to-date education on ATOMS (Adjustable Transobturator Male System).

ATOMS is a hydraulic sphincter replacement system that combines a minimally invasive, low-risk therapy method with easy pressure adjustment. It is suitable for the treatment of male incontinence – especially for high-grade urinary incontinence and problematic conditions after radiation or prostatectomy.

The webinar lasted about 90 minutes and was conducted by three recognised experts in the field of urological medicine and research:

Prof. Dr. Ricarda M. Bauer

Head of the Urology Department, “Maximilianstraße” and Head of Continence Centre of the Urological Clinic, “Klinikum Großhadern”, Ludwig-Maximilians University, Germany, Senior Surgeon, Department of Urology, Prof. Stief, Ludwig-Maximilians University, Germany

Dr. Fabian Queißert

Head of the Continence & Neurology Department, University Hospital Munster, Germany

Dr. Sandra Schönburg

Acting Clinic Director and Acting Head of Urologic oncology Centres, Counselling Centre of the German Continence Society

“Several participants were already active before the webinar started and submitted questions on ATOMS,” says Philipp Steinert, A.M.I. Head of Product Management. “This was of course the ideal basis for a lively exchange with advanced information and knowledge for all participants. We are thrilled with the outcome of this successful event and look forward to continuing our thriving A.M.I. Online Workshop series!”
