Last week, the first A.M.I. Online Training on “Treatment of Fecal Incontinence with the A.M.I. Soft Anal Band” was held. Dr. Eric Lorenz from the Alexianer St. Hedwig Hospital in Berlin led through the diverse program under the slogan “From diagnosis to the right treatment method”.
In the first part, Dr. Lorenz highlighted causes, indications, symptoms as well as different degrees of fecal incontinence. He then discussed in detail various therapeutic and surgical treatment options. Using a surgical video – peppered with a variety of tips from his own wealth of experience – Dr. Lorenz went on to explain the implantation technique and correct use of the A.M.I. Soft Anal Band.
