„Advanced treatment of pelvic floor disorders” was the title of another very interesting Surgical Workshop, which was held in cooperation with Dr. Andreas Brandt at the Ortenau Klinikum in Offenburg, Germany.
In the theoretical part, Dr. Brandt presented the use of various meshes and slings as well as surgical techniques for the treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse or Stress Urinary Incontinence. In addition, Dr. Brandt explained the advantages and disadvantages of alternative treatment options. After the lecture, the participants had the opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge into practice during several surgeries.
For many years, Dr. Brandt and his team have relied on A.M.I. products for the surgical treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Stress Urinary Incontinence. “Surgery always is the last option to correct Pelvic Organ Prolapse or Stress Urinary Incontinence.
